When needed, the KTM Neck Brace can safely arrest dangerous movements of the head in both race and road use. The forces arising are transferred effectively from the neck to the upper body. The neck brace offers scientifically and technologically advanced protection against:
Hyperflexion (extreme forward movement of the head)
Hyperextension (extreme backward movement and overstretching of the head)
Lateral hyperflexion (extreme movement of the head to the side)
Axial loading (compression of the spinal column due to a corresponding load on the helmet)
Posterial hypertranslation (rearwards shunting of the head into the neck)
Uncontrolled movements of the head/helmet in the event of a crash
Energy-absorbing material on the outer surface and body contact surface
CoreFlex in the thoracic spinal area with predefined breaking point for heavy impact situations
Variable size adjustment
Simple handling with quick-release fasteners
Unique height adjustment system on the back for different helmet spacings or sitting positions
Including revamped, optional strap
